What if I can no longer make a tasting?
If you email us at wine@amphoracambridge.com over 48 hours before the tasting, we will issue you a full refund, or you may transfer your booking to a future event or wine credit. Within 48h of an event, we cannot provide a refund or booking transfer, but you are welcome to send a friend in your place.
Are your wine tastings suitable for beginners?
In short, yes. The tastings are meant to enhance your enjoyment of wine, by introducing you to new wines, and helping you understand why they taste the way they do. We also find that wine enthusiasts tend to get on and make new friends at our events.
Is food provided at the events?
There are nibbles, such as crackers and nuts, but it is not a meal. We recommend a hearty lunch or a light supper prior to a tasting.
How long do tastings last?
Typically 90min to 2 hours.
