Wed 5th February. The Big Cows Cheese & Wine Tasting

6.30pm at d’Arry’s Restaurant, Bar & Cheesemonger, 2-4 King St, Cambridge CB1 1LN

Our first cheese and wine event of the year!

We are excited to be working with Charlie Gerard, Cheese expert at The Cheesemonger d’Arry’s, specialising in British artisanal cheeses, and matured locally in Cambridge. Charlie will take guests through a structured tasting of 4 tasty cow’s milk cheeses, and Cong will select (at least) 4 wines to match, explaining pairing principles. If you love any of the cheeses or wines, you will be able to buy some to take home with you at the end of the event. You are also most welcome to stay for dinner at d’Arry’s.

This tasting will feature a minimum of 4 wines. We recommend you don’t eat prior to the event in order to best appreciate the cheeses and wines. We ask you to refrain from wearing pungently scented products to the tasting, so as not to compromise your experience or that of the other guests.

Cancellation Policy:

If we need to cancel this event, we will notify you in advance and issue a full refund. If you can no longer make a tasting, and email us at wine@amphoracambridge.com over 48 hours before the tasting, we will issue you a full refund, or you may transfer your booking to a future event or store credit. Within 48h of an event, we cannot provide a refund or booking transfer, but you are welcome to send a friend in your place.
